How many seats for Casablanca-Settat?

The consolidated text of Organic Law No. 27.11 consulted on the Ministry of Justice legal portal maintains 12 seats for the regional electoral constituency of Casablanca-Settat. For local constituencies, this text refers to Decree No. 2.11.603; the official division used here totals 57 local seats in the region. Together, these two components represent 69 seats territorially attached to Casablanca-Settat, out of 395 seats nationwide.

Statistics from the previous legislative elections: 2021

The last general legislative election was held on 8 September 2021. The House of Representatives published the national composition below. These figures are national : they should not be interpreted as results specific to Casablanca-Settat, nor as an indication of the 2026 election.

The same official report also states that 96 women won a seat in 2021: 90 through regional constituencies and 6 through local constituencies.

Population of Casablanca-Settat: 2024 RGPH context

The High Commission for Planning sets the legal population from the 2024 RGPH at 7,688,967 inhabitants for the region. This demographic data is shown as territorial context; on its own, it cannot be used to recalculate or predict an electoral allocation.
