Distribution of notices indicating the polling station
Local administrative authorities provide female and male voters with notices indicating the location of their polling station until Tuesday, 22 September at 18:00. This notice is not required to vote; the CNIE remains the official document required to prove identity.
Proxy-voting platform for MRE
The electronic platform allowing eligible Moroccans residing abroad to establish a voting proxy is open until Tuesday, 22 September at noon. Access is announced via elections.ma and listeselectorales.ma.
Opening of candidate submissions
Decree No. 2.26.190 opens the candidate-filing period on Monday, 31 August at 08:00.
Closure of the electronic candidate-submission platform
The electronic platform for filing candidacies closes on Tuesday, 8 September at 12:00.
End of the legal deadline for candidate submissions
Original files must be submitted to the competent authority no later than Wednesday, 9 September at 12:00, in accordance with the procedures set out by the decree.
Start of the election campaign
The decree states that the campaign begins at the first hour of Thursday, 10 September 2026.
End of the election campaign
The campaign ends at midnight on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
Election day
Female and male voters are called throughout all regions of the Kingdom to elect members of the House of Representatives.
